A man was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries early Sunday morning after a two-car crash on Interstate 95 in Attleboro.
Around 1:15 a.m., police responded to a crash involving two vehicles on the northbound side of I-95 and found a debris field stretching over a quarter of a mile, according to a statement released by the Attleboro Fire Department.
Upon arrival, first responders found a man trapped inside one of the vehicles and used extrication tools to free him. The man, whose name was not released, was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the statement.
The second vehicle was found in flames about 400 yards away after rolling over and striking a bridge support, according to the statement. First responders quickly extinguished
