A man was knocked unconscious as a group of violent robbers stole his watch.

The victim, in his 40s, was attacked in Darlaston at around 10pm on Saturday, September 6.

He was found the following morning, near the junction of Alma Street and Willenhall Street, with facial injuries.

West Midlands Police believes up to three men in their late teens or early 20s carried out the attack.

A force spokesperson said: "We're appealing for information after a man was attacked and knocked unconscious in Darlaston last weekend.

"The man, aged in in his 40s, was discovered with facial injuries near the junction of Alma Street and Willenhall Street on Sunday morning.
