LEXINGTON, S.C. - The second South Carolina trooper this week and the third in a month was hit by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Lexington County.

The latest incident happened early Tuesday in the area of Augusta Road. The trooper was airlifted to a hospital, but further details weren’t available.
