WARRENTON, Mo. – An arrest warrant has been issued for a woman accused of defrauding the state of more than $21,000 in food stamp benefits.
According to the Missouri Department of Social Services’ probable cause statement, Angela Beer-Free filed false bank statements and applications to DSS Family Support Division in order to qualify for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
From January 2022 to July 2024, Beer-Free received SNAP benefits totaling $21,749 that she was not entitled to.
The Warren County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Beer-Free with stealing – $750 or more and unlawfully receiving public assistance benefits.
