WASHINGTON — The FIFA World Cup is coming to North America next year and fans will soon get their chance at purchasing tickets to some of the games.
Starting Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. Eastern, fans will be able to enter a drawing for a chance to purchase tickets to World Cup matches. Once registration ends on Friday, Sept. 19, there will be a randomized selection process to select fans who will be able to purchase their tickets.
But there's a catch. This presale drawing is only available for Visa cardholders. According to FIFA's website , to be eligible for the presale, you need to have an unexpired Visa debit, credit or prepaid card enabled with 3D Secure.
