A funeral was held for a teenager who was killed in a crash in Chester County, Pennsylvania, involving two vehicles and a deer .

An investigation revealed a car hit a deer that had walked onto the roadway of Route 322 near Romig Road in West Bradford Township around 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2, officials said. That car continued to drive and left the scene.

The crash threw the deer onto the other side of the road, where a second car hit the animal, according to officials.

When the deer hit the second car, it landed on the windshield, officials said.
