And something that this show does exceptionally well is avoiding repetition by exploring totally new corners of this world each season, whether it be theater, film, or, as we’ll see this year, the mafia. You’ll remember that last season ended with the death of Lester the doorman, but does that death fit the stringent, titular criteria that the trio has for their investigations?
