The U.S. Department of State is offering rewards totaling up to $11 million for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a Ukrainian cyber actor and other key leaders behind three major ransomware variants.

The Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) announced the reward under its Transnational Organized Crime Rewards Program (TOCRP).

A reward of up to $10 million has been offered for information on Volodymyr Viktorovych Tymoshchuk, a Ukrainian national who remains a fugitive. An additional reward of up to $1 million is available for information on other unnamed key leaders of the same ransomware groups.
