ANNAPOLIS, Md. —

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, a rising Democrat who faced speculation over a potential presidential bid in 2028, launched his re-election campaign.

The governor made his announcement early Tuesday morning in a YouTube video that his campaign said highlights the governor's efforts to make the state more affordable, growing the state's economy, bringing down homicides in Baltimore and leading the state through the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
