A 16-year-old fatally stabbed a 14-year-old at least five times during an argument about chores at an Oakland Park group home, according to newly released court records.
The new probable cause affidavit was released as 16-year-old Ruben Whitworth appeared in court on Tuesday to face a second-degree murder charge in the stabbing that claimed the life of Jordan Dowdy.

Whitworth and Dowdy "were in a verbal altercation regarding chores within the residence" and Whitworth was "making fun of him and telling him his food had roaches" the day of the stabbing, the affidavit said.
