Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim is the ‘new favourite’ to be the next Premier League manager to leave their role, according to Betfair.

Nuno Espirito Santo became the first top-flight head coach to be sacked this season on Tuesday, with Ange Postecoglou replacing him at Nottingham Forest.

The managerial change has seen the betting markets shift – with Amorim now 9/4, along with West Ham’s Graham Potter, to lose his job next.

United lost 1-0 to Arsenal in their first Premier League game of the season last month.

Amorim’s side then drew 1-1 at Fulham having been unable to hang onto their lead before a narrow 3-2 home win over promoted side Burnley.
