WABASHA, Minn. — Students in the Wabasha-Kellogg school district headed back to class Tuesday morning, after issues with mold in some classrooms delayed the start of the school year.
Due to ongoing construction and mold remediation, elementary classrooms were moved to other parts of the building. Superintendent Nels Onstad emphasized the district's commitment to making these spaces comfortable for students. "We deeply appreciate our families’ patience, flexibility, and support as we work to provide a safe, functional, and welcoming school for every student," Onstad said.
