LEXINGTON, Ky. — Champions Blue LLC's Board of Governors endorsed the pre-design phases for a new UK Athletics practice facility and multi-use development, according to a University of Kentucky news release.

UK said the proposed facility would feature a dedicated practice space for UK basketball, plus UK HealthCare Sports Medicine ambulatory spaces and sports-related research areas. The location is still to be determined; however, UK said it envisions the facility as a cornerstone of an emerging Sports Adjacent District.
