TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Tallahassee Police are investigating after a shooting occurred late Tuesday morning near an area at Jack McLean Park, leaving one “juvenile female” injured, according to police.

The incident unfolded just before 11:45 a.m. “near the wooden pavilion area at Jack McLean Park,” the police department wrote in a press release Tuesday afternoon.

The female, whose age TPD did not specify, was transported to a local hospital due to suffering a “non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the arm,” police said.

TPD did not mention in its press release whether an arrest had been made in connection with the shooting.
