Ronaldinho's son Joao Mendes has reportedly linked up with Hull City - four months after being let go by Burnley.

The 20-year-old joined the Clarets on a two-year deal last summer following the expiration of his contract at Barcelona.

He featured in five matches for Burnley's Under-21s, with each of his outings coming in the Premier League Cup.

The versatile winger - capable of playing on either flank - scored in a 4-1 win against Reading.

While he supplied an assist in both of his games against Luton.

But unfortunately for the youngster, it wasn't enough to convince Burnley to keep him on, with Mendes one of 13 U21 players to be shown the door.
