SOMERS, Conn. (WFSB) - Emergency crews responded to multiple car fires in Somers on Tuesday afternoon.
At around 11:38 a.m. firefighters were called to the area of Main Street after a report of a several vehicles that were fully involved.
When crews arrived, water supply lines were established and stretched attack hose lines in order to bring the fire under control and to keep it from spreading.
Officials said three cars, a fence and a tree were involved.
About 20 firefighters assisted on scene.
No injuries were reported.
Main Street was temporarily closed.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
No further details were released.
