INDIANAPOLIS — An Indiana inmate has been sentenced to 4 years in prison for threatening to blow up the Supreme Court of the United States to murder the conservative justices.
Roger King, 39, pleaded guilty to two counts of mailing threatening communications. His sentence will begin after he finishes serving his time for his current convictions for intimidation and failure to register as a sex offender.
On Nov. 9, 2021, King mailed a letter to the United States Supreme Court Clerk addressed to the "Republican Justices." King threatened to bomb the court and wrote he had “every intention to come to Washington to use a bomb” that would “blow up and kill all of you Republican Justices.”
