Ruben Amorim was reportedly left unimpressed as Andre Onana picked up an injury this summer, just days after a video surfaced showing the goalkeeper taking part in a local match in Cameroon.

Manchester United are expected to officially announce Onana’s departure in the coming hours, with the 29-year-old set to join Trabzonspor on a season-long loan move.

While the Premier League’s transfer deadline came and went at 7pm on Monday, the Turkish window remains open until Friday, allowing Trabzonspor an opportunity to secure a deal for Onana.

Onana will no doubt be desperate to rebuild his damaged reputation in Turkey having fallen well below expectations at United following a £47million move from Inter Milan in 2023.
