MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) - Multiple people were arrested after 1 a.m. on Sunday following a fight outside of a nightclub in Wisconsin that initially started with one man punching a woman before subsequent brawls broke out.

According to the Madison Police Department, an officer was alerted that a fight was outside a nightclub in the 300 block of West Gorham Street shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday. Witnesses said that a man reportedly punched a woman.

The man, identified as 23-year-old Ellis Howard, was separated from the woman and continued to ignore commands to stop resisting. He was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting. The woman, identified as 25-year-old Dana Sagapolu, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
