Grand Canyon authorities received a report on Sept. 7 of a vehicle with a single occupant that went over the rim near the South Kaibab Trailhead

The body of the victim was recovered approximately 300 feet below the rim

The National Park Service identified the victim as Steven (Drew) Bradley, 27, of Federal Heights, Colo.

Authorities said a man died after the vehicle he was in drove over a rim in Grand Canyon National Park last weekend.

The National Park Service (NPS) stated in a press release that the Grand Canyon Regional Communications Center was notified about a vehicle with a single occupant that went over the rim near the South Kaibab Trailhead at around 12:40 p.m. local time on Sunday, Sept. 7.
