Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy’s showing on the field this past Saturday did not just yield his team a road victory over an SEC opponent. It also earned him national recognition from a prestigious outlet.

Lacy, the SEC’s leading rusher through the first two games of the 2025 season, earned the Doak Walker National Player of the Week honor after an impressive outing against Kentucky over the weekend. The Missouri transfer logged 138 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries in the 30-23 victory. He has amassed 246 yards and four scores altogether in the first two contests.
