A Warehouse District institution with a fresh tasting menu and a recently-opened Algiers restaurant are among The New York Times' 50 best restaurants in the country.
Emeril's, the famed restaurant celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse opened in 1990, and Saint Claire, a restaurant opened in June by friends Cassi Dymond and Melissa Martin, were selected with write-ups by Times writer and former Times-Picayune food critic Brett Anderson.
