Hot on the heels of the first trailer for the movie, Netflix has just dropped a first-look image at their highly anticipated Miami-set action thriller The Rip . Originally expected this fall, the Joe Carnahan film starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will now premiere globally on January 16, 2026. The project marks the first collaboration between Netflix and Artists Equity, the studio Damon and Affleck co-founded in 2022. The Rip features a stacked ensemble cast including Teyana Taylor , Catalina Sandino Moreno , Sasha Calle, Steven Yeun , Nésto Carbonell , Scott Adkins , Kyle Chandler, and Lina Esco .
