A Harrison Township woman charged in a fatal 2024 car crash and accused of biting a Warren police officer has been ordered to stand trial, officials said.

Diamond Leann Glenn, 27, was bound over by a Warren District Court judge on Monday, the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office said.

Her next court hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 18, according to the prosecutor's office and court records.

Glenn is charged with second-degree murder, a life felony; attempted failure to stop at the scene of an accident when at fault and resulting in death, a 15-year felony; and assaulting a police officer, a two-year felony.

"This case is a tragic reminder that reckless decisions behind the wheel can have devastating, irreversible consequences," Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido said in a statement
