There were a few surprises in high school football last week, with Fallon shutting out Truckee and Bishop Manogue staying close to Pittsburg, a powerhouse California team.

Spanish Springs and Reno both won via shutouts. The Cougars got to see some of their younger players in their 38-0 win over Carson, and Reno blanked Sequioa, 28-0.
