A new series 10 beer and wine store license is being sought by Lauren Kay Merrett for Maverik, a gas station and convenience store in Gold Canyon.

The Pinal County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Sept. 3 to recommend that the Arizona Department of Liquor License and Control approve the liquor license for the business at 6940 S. Kings Ranch Road.
