BOWLING GREEN — At least one of the applications to rezone 110 acres, apparently to expand the existing $850 million Meta data center site that is under construction, has been withdrawn.
Attorney Robert Spitler, who represents Bernard and Margaret Eckel, told The Blade their rezoning application “was withdrawn this morning,” he said Tuesday afternoon.
Mr. Spitler declined to say why the application was withdrawn or whether the property would still be sold.
“I’m in no position to disclose that,” he said.
The properties with the rezoning requests are a 75.34-acre parcel at 0 Devils Hole Road owned by the Eckels, and a 37.18-acre parcel at 12420 Devils Hole Road owned by Terry L. Speck.
The rezoning request is from A-1 agricultural zoning to M-1 light industrial.
