HENDERSON, Ind. (WFIE) - Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet have delayed the closure of a lane on the Southbound Twin Bridge by a day.
Originally scheduled to begin Tuesday night, work will now start at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
Officials say crews plan to be on the bridge daily from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.
During that time the southbound bridge will be restricted to one lane.
Both lanes should be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
There is not a plan to alter traffic on the northbound bridge at this time.
Officials say the project consists primarily of repairs to issues found during a specialized steel inspection conducted in late 2024.
The project is scheduled to be completed by October 19.
