BILLINGS — Rocky Mountain College is searching for a new athletic director.

On Monday evening, the NAIA school that competes in the newly-expanded Frontier Conference announced in a press release that Jim Klemann was resigning “to pursue another professional opportunity.”

That opportunity for Klemann is as the director of athletics at NAIA Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. L-C State announced the hiring of Klemann in a press release on Monday. Per the L-C State news release, Klemann will join L-C State on Oct. 1. Klemann told The Billings Gazette and 406 MT Sports on Tuesday that his last day at Rocky would be Sept. 20, which is homecoming for the Battlin’ Bears.
