North Allegheny junior Molly Robertson had one school in mind when she started the recruiting process: Penn State, the most successful women's volleyball program in NCAA Division I history.
"I've always been a Penn State fan," said Robertson, who is considered one of the top setters in the country. "Both of my parents went to Penn State, so it wasn't a hard decision. This is truly a dream come true."
Robertson broke into North Allegheny's starting lineup as a freshman and helped the Tigers win WPIAL and PIAA Class 4A titles. Her contribution as a setter/right-side hitter earned Robertson a spot on the second team of the WPIAL all-star team.
Last season, her role changed as North Allegheny coach Russ Hoburg asked her to move to outside hitter since the Tigers had an abundance of talent a
