RICHMOND, Va. (WDBJ) - The Virginia Lottery has debuted a new promotion. First it was, “ Thank a Teacher ”, now, with the help of The Supply Room , they have announced a contest called: The Teachers’ Lounge Makeover."

Starting on Tuesday, September 9 until Friday, October 3, teachers, school staff, parents and community members over the age of 18 can enter their favorite K-12 public school in the commonwealth for an opportunity to win a refurbished teachers’ lounge, worth $7500.

The winning school’s teachers’ lounge will receive new furniture and supplies, making it more welcoming, fun and creative for teachers to relax and recharge, said the Virginia Lottery.
