ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Court documents from St. Joseph County reveal 25-year-old William Casey was arrested and charged with Residential Entry, a Level 6 Felony, Invasion of Privacy-Def. violates an order, a Misdemeanor, Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury, a Misdemeanor, stemming from an incident on Aug. 28.

Casey's first court hearing is Sept. 22.

The St. Joseph County Police Department report an officer responded to an address in the 500 block of Grand Boulevard on Aug. 28.

Upon arrival, the officer heard yelling coming from the rear of the residence. The officer approached the back door and observed a Casey attempting to push his way inside the home.

Police say Casey had one leg inside the doorway and his body positioned as if to slip through.
