The White House described Israel’s strike in Qatar as counter to President Donald Trump’s goal of achieving peace in Gaza. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the site of today’s attack, in a residential neighborhood in the Qatari capital Doha, was “unfortunate.”
