AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Texas Panhandle War Memorial and Education Center will host a 9/11 remembrance ceremony this Thursday.

Organizers say Thursday’s ceremony will honor the lives lost, recognize the courage of first responders, and celebrate unity.

The 9/11 ceremony will take place Sept. 11 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the Texas Panhandle War Memorial, 4111 S. Georgia.

The event is open to all.
