ATLANTA — A man who police say casually walked away from a deadly crash with his golf clubs has been charged with vehicular homicide.
According to an arrest affidavit, Buck Rollins was speeding in a Hyundai Elantra when he slammed into a Toyota Prius that was driving southbound on Mount Paran Road into the intersection of Northside Parkway in Atlanta. The accident occurred on Sept. 1 around 5:15 p.m.
Investigators said Rollins was driving 90 miles an hour in the right turn lane on westbound Northside when he drove over the curb and went airborne, striking the other vehicle with a driver and two passengers. One of the passengers, Amy Lacy, died four days later. The two others were hospitalized for treatment of their injuries.
After the crash, Rollins continued driving on Mount Paran Road
