The San Francisco 49ers are waiving kicker Jake Moody after missing two field goals in the season opener, NFL Network reported Tuesday.

Moody, a third-round draft pick in 2023, missed a 27-yard attempt in the second quarter and had a 36-yarder blocked in the third of Sunday’s 17-13 win at Seattle.

Moody did convert a game-tying field goal from 32 yards in the fourth quarter and also made both of his extra-point attempts.

In 32 career games, Moody has made 74.2 percent of his field goals (46 of 62) and 97.9 percent of his PATs (94 of 96).

Moody set a Super Bowl record with a 55-yarder against Kansas City in Super Bowl LVIII, only to see Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker break the mark with a 57-yarder later in the game.
