Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana made another error as his Cameroon side suffered a 1-0 defeat to Cape Verde in a 2026 World Cup qualification fixture on Tuesday.

Dailon Livramento scored the only goal of the contest in the 54th minute, and it will go down as another poor piece of goalkeeping from Onana, who failed to confront the number nine before dropping to the ground too early.

The Cape Verde attacker was allowed to break into the Cameroonian penalty box before firing past Onana, who ended up sitting down towards the post, and he has previously been guilty of that during his time at Man United.

Onana did manage to keep a clean sheet in Cameroon's 3-0 win over Eswatini on September 4, but it has been a poor start to the campaign for the 29-year-old, who is close to
