The mother of a Hialeah man who went missing and was later found dead spoke about the crime after one of the suspects turned herself in to police in Mexico after more than a month on the run.

Daylon Fleitas, 37, disappeared in early August , the same day authorities said he met with one of the suspects, 32-year-old Alfredo Carballo Gonzalez, in the area of 95th Avenue and Northwest 106th Street.

Carballo Gonzalez was seen entering Fleitas Gonzalez's truck, where an altercation took place, investigators said. Shortly after, Carballo Gonzalez placed a recycling bin in the bed of the Fleitas' truck and drove it away, with the second suspect, 27-year-old Ariely Alvarez Cabrera, following him in another vehicle.
