The 49 th annual Renaissance Ball focused on simple color and elegance as guests celebrated the Oklahoma City Museum of Art and its upcoming exhibition featuring the colorful, geometric work of artist Paul Reed .

The black-tie gala at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club also included a surprise for longtime museum supporter Frank Hill – the new Frank D. Hill Distinguished Trustee Award, created to recognize his work and honor others who continue it in the future. The inaugural recipient of his namesake award? Hill himself!

In presenting the award to Hill, Board Vice Chairman Bob Barnard called Hill the “heart of the institution” who has championed museum growth, initiatives, exhibits and more for years.
