Housing rally in Springfield to gather signatures for rent stabilization ballot question

SPRINGFIELD — For more than 30 years, housing advocates say landlords have gone unchecked due to a statewide ban on rent control.

That would all change if a ballot initiative that would stabilize rents passes next year.
