SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - A man will serve 210 days in the Washoe County Jail after being convicted of DUI and driving on a revoked driver’s license.
Jose Velazquez-Marica was pulled over by the Sparks Police Department on Feb. 26 after police say he was driving at an unsafe speed. During the stop, Marica displayed signs of impairment, and testing showed him to be over twice the legal limit to drive.
Marica was found guilty in July of DUI, 2nd offense and driving on a revoked license. He will serve 180 days for the DUI and 30 for driving on a revoked license.
