Candon Dahle got off the luckiest sentence for a sexual predator that would make you want to throw up.

An Idaho judge is receiving significant backlash nationwide after sentencing the former BYU baseball player accused of lewd conduct with a child to jail time and probation.

The 22-year-old former BYU baseball starter pleaded guilty to lesser felony charges after he was accused of sexually assaulting a minor earlier this year.

In May, Dahle accepted a plea agreement in which he agreed to plead guilty to two lesser charges of felony injury to a child, in exchange for the prosecution agreeing to dismiss similar pending charges.
