LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky Performing Arts recently lost $100,000 in a ticket resale fraud tied to the Broadway musical "Wicked."

Ajibola Oduntan, born in Nigeria and now living in Ireland, purchased dozens of tickets using stolen credit card numbers and resold them on StubHub, prosecutors say.

When the curtain closed and credit card companies demanded refunds, this forced Kentucky Performing Arts to cover the losses.

Oduntan used several email addresses, phone numbers and stolen credit card information to hide his identity.

Investigators were able to tie Oduntan to the illegal activity when an email address associated with his personal PayPal account sent more than 30 emails containing credit card information for U.S. residents.

That same email address was also linked by phone number
