LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Shively bakery will be one of two bakeries in America to roll out “Exploremores,” a new Girl Scout cookie.
Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana introduced the rocky-road inspired cookie on Tuesday.
The cookie is filled with chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond crème.
CEO Maggie Elder announced that Little Brownie Bakers on Ralph Avenue will produce the cookie for the region.
They have been baking cookies for Girls Scouts for more than 50 years and produce favorites like Tagalongs, Samoas, Thin Mints, Do-Si-Dos and more.
Exploremores have been in development for a while and Little Brownie Bakers had to keep it under wraps.
“They couldn’t tell anybody,” Elder said. “Thank you to the amazing team at Little Brownie Bakers that are making our Girl Scout cookies happen.”
