It remains unclear whether the NFL will choose to suspend Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter after being ejected from the team's season opening game in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys. But if the decision were up to Hall of Fame edge rusher Jared Allen, Carter would undoubtedly be suspended.

While it is unclear whether any words were said between Carter and Dak Prescott prior to the incident, the incident itself, from Carter, reportedly came as a response to Prescott spitting on the ground in what he believed to be the direction of the Eagles' defensive line before the first play from scrimmage in the game.

Most saw this as a clear overreaction from Carter, while others understood why he was frustrated by Prescott's decision to spit first.
