ANNAPOLIS, Md. (DC News Now) - Maryland Gov. Wes Moore made his political plans official Tuesday, kicking off his 2026 reelection campaign in Annapolis.
The Democrat is looking to secure a second term after he was elected as the state's first Black governor in 2022.
The governor launched his campaign Tuesday with a video posted to social media, where he doubled down on protecting public safety in the state, boosting Maryland's economy and pushing back against republican President Donald Trump.
