Following a poor showing at home, the Detroit Tigers kick off a three-game road series against the New York Yankees on Tuesday night.

The Tigers are hoping they can bounce back after a rather disappointing week of baseball. After losing two of three to the other team in New York, the Mets, Detroit finished up its six-game homestand with a lackluster display against the lowly Chicago White Sox, dropping two of the three to the last-place team in the American League Central over the weekend.
