Kate Middleton’s new blond look barely lasted a fortnight.

The Duchess of Wales is back to being a brunette while making a surprise appearance Monday at The National Federation of Women’s Institute in Sunningdale, west of London, with her husband Prince William.

Princess Catherine’s hair was a darker shade with highlights as the Royal couple dropped by the organization’s office to speak with members on the third anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s death.

The National Federation of Women’s Institute is a community-based organization for women founded in Stoney Creek, Ont., in 1897. The charity campaigns on a wide range of issues affecting women in Canada, the U.K., South Africa and New Zealand.
