The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District is moving forward with plans to form a school consolidation committee, with district leaders emphasizing both educational opportunity and long-term sustainability as key drivers of the process.
At a work session ahead of Monday’s school board meeting in the theater at Seward High School, Superintendent Clayton Holland presented a framework for how the district will approach potential school closures or consolidations.
