Culver's is coming to Dundee, and they'll be officially break ground at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at 16495 Tecumseh St.

"We’re excited to bring Culver’s warm hospitality and high-quality meals and treats to Dundee," local franchise owner Sean Carleton said in a statement. "This is an outstanding community, and we're excited to become an active part of it."

Carleton is opening the location with Gerry Olinik.

Village Manager Ryan Rudzis said Culver's coming to Dundee is connected to the village's continued growth.

"We're happy we have a culture that welcomes businesses, able to retain what we have and attract others," he said.

Rudzis said the hope is the restaurant will be complete in December.

This will be the second Culver's in Monroe County, joining the one in Monroe at 1899 North
